The Motorhome Kings depot is approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. There are several different travel options available to reach us, details are listed below :
By Car
You are more than welcome to leave a car inside our secure depot free of charge. Please see terms and conditions of hire, titled car parking facilities.
Travelling on the A1
Exit the A1 junction 80, take the A19 exit and head towards the A19 Tyne Tunnel. Continue on the A19 for approximately 8 miles /12.8 km take the exit sign posted the A1058 Tynemouth / Whitley Bay. At the roundabout/ traffic lights take the second exit onto the A1058 heading towards Tynemouth/Whitley Bay. Stay in the left lane and take the next exit slip road towards New York/ Percy Main/ West Chirton ind. est. At the junction turn left onto Norham Road, follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles / 800m until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the lights onto Middle Engine Lane. Take the first left after approx 300 yards /275m onto Alder Road then take the first left onto Elm Road then the first left again. You will see Motorhome Kings on the left hand side with dedicated parking at the front of the building.
Travelling North on the A19
Follow the A19 north bound and go through the Tyne Tunnel (toll road). From the tunnel, follow the A19 to the junction with the A1058. Take the slip road sign posted A1058 Tynemouth.Take the 4th exit heading towards Tynemouth on the A1058. Stay in the left lane and take the next exit slip road towards New York. At the junction turn left onto Norham Road, follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles / 800m to a set of traffic lights. Turn left at the lights onto Middle Engine Lane. Take the first left after approx 300 yards /275m onto Alder Road then take the first left onto Elm Road then the first left again. By Rail
Central Station in Newcastle upon Tyne is approx 7 miles from Motorhome Kings. We have arranged a fixed fare of just £15.50 for this journey with NE Taxis, you can book this by calling them on +44 (0) 191 4321000.
By Air
Newcastle International Airport (NCL) is approximately 12 miles from Motorhome Kings. Flights into Newcastle Airport can be met by NE Taxis. We have arranged a fixed fare of £22.00 (includes barrier fee £2.00) from the airport to our depot. Please call NE Taxis on +44 (0) 191 4321000 prior to flying to book your arrival with a member of their staff. If you supply your flight number to NE Taxis they will monitor your flight to make sure they are there to meet you.
By Sea
Newcastle (North Shields) ferry port is approximately 4 miles from our depot. A fixed fare of £8.00 has been arranged with NE Taxis to transfer you from the port to our depot. To arrange this service, call NE Taxis on +44 (0) 191 4321000.
